Generic default logo (or icon) in vector format

“I need a default icon” is probably one of the most common requests I get from developers. No matter what type of UI or app I’m working on, there’s always a need to have a default icon that can be displayed when no other icon is available to put in it’s place. I’ve made a lot of these things – and as simple as they seem, it’s actually a pretty difficult thing to do. Why? Well, it’s usually got to look good…yet meaningless. Easier said than done. Anyway, the example that I have uploaded here is colorful and glossy enough that it could be used as a generic logo as well (for templates or mockups).
